NOMAn's lands "

A found object installation of Michalis Kokkoliadis's "NOMAn's lanDS" is a site- specific installation which eludes in title and content to the play by Harold Pinter and the common fate of individuals in society as we "walk along the same path". The decaying fabric of the tobacco warehouse bathroom is strategically adorned with the debris of every day human routines. Dimly lit there is also the encroachment of fresh vegetation. This confined space is probably the most disturbing and at the same time fascinating contemplation site or focus of the entire exhibition. Behind the closed door the visitors to this show spends more time than in any other exhibit for whatever reason; we can only speculate. There seemed to be something supernatural about the mundane inevitability suggested by this piece, which was created by an artist who spends much of his time working in the theatre.
